Cruise control stopped working

Cruise control stopped working I did do a search but mine seems to be somewhat different. It was working sometimes but now all of the sudden it will not work at all. I have read that maybe my break light could be out (havent checked that yet, just got home and no one was around) or a button by the clutch could be causing it. I thought it could be something to do with my parking break because when I put that on now the BRAKE light does not illuminate. What the heck does that mean? If someone could help that would be great. I would love to have my cruise control back. Thanks in advance.

hmm check the little round module on the passanger side of the car....its where the throttle cable ties in and where the cruise control also meets.....theres alot of little gears in there make sure there working, you can take the little black top of the module and check....im not sure about the break light thing....check back
