best 4l60e mod
I have been having problems with the 2-3 shift hitting the rev limiter. I replaced the stock servos with a billet set to see if it would have any effect. I am amazed at how crisp the shifts are now. I have tested it on the street and am eagerly awaiting to see if I can make a full pass on the bottle at the track without any problems. So far, so good.

The install was tight as I had to unbolt the cross member and let the tranny droop on it's own. I then still had to gently pry the tranny away from the tunnel. As far as ease goes... if you can do a tune up then you can install the billet servos. My experience so far has exceeded my expectations. Keep an eye on my sig next week to see if I net any improvements at the track. I'm looking to go better than an 11.5 in the 1/4 mile. The best in my sig was having to let off 2 or 3 times to get it to shift into 3rd.

any updates?
the trans in the camaro needs a fix...IMMEDIATELY.
i did a test:
not stalling up the verter, leaving off idle the 2-3 shift was tight, crisp. (like what i want)
but if i load the verter and stall it up and launch the 2-3 hit is WEAK! lags....frustrating. UGH!

The billet servo is fine and we use them in our level 2 and 3 unit however be warned that the stock band pin area cannot stand the force vey long and will tear through after a bit resulting in loss of 2nd and 4th , We do not suggest the use of the billet servo either sonax or superior with the stock band ,

I went to the track Tues. Made a motor pass and shifted fine. No hitting rev limiter. 2nd pass turned on the bottle=hanging in 2nd still and hit the limiter. I am now looking for a complete core as cheap as possible, locally so I can build it. My tranny builder is going to teach me how to build a 4l60e.

Just got back from the track with the m6-a4 conversion. Mine bounced off the rev limiter everytime from 2-3. This is a built dr-evil stage 3 trans. Other than that it felt perfect. What could be the issue?

All in time my friend. But for now i need some good times out of the dr.evil. I am really confident the issue is not with the trans. Ill take you for a spin in it when i see you next. I believe its in the tune. Its going back to FLP on the 14th.
