thermostat
what's up everyone? anyone ever heard of this? http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=100224
sorry, my hyperlink isn't working, but it's a thermostat for the LT1s that claims to free up to 10 horses and keep operating temperature around 160 degrees. it's cheap, but does anyone know, or, think it would help significantly with more consistent times at the track? thanks.

The factory runs our engines pretty warm so that they burn cleaner, but it's not the best for performance. Any time you can lower engine temp you will usually make more power. A cooler engine is less likely to detonate also. 160 seems to be the sweet spot for most applications.
