Anyone know a trans guy/shop in the Chicagoland area that has experience with the 4T65-HD tranny's behind the L67 (supercharged 3.8Ls)?

ZZPerformance.com

Their trans builder has built up trannies for their 9 second drag cars and anything from an 11-12 second daily drivers to bone stock cars just looking for a replacement. PM if you need any info or help, I'm a former GTPer...

Currently I only build transmissions for my own cars, however I can remove and replace the transmission for you to take it somewhere to be built. I recommend ZZP or Dynotech transmissions.

I don't know a lot about GTP mods, but I've read of a few 4T80 swaps into GTPs

I haven't. I only know of one GTP running a 4T80, and that one has an LS1 in it.
