ok so i went over all the responses from you guys & thanks for the feed back, but i did some research & found that a stall would not be nessary right now seeing as how i dont have a cam and that i can get off the line pretty good as it is so i went ahead with the 3.73 gears,b&m shift kit & 3'' cat back exhaust. after i make a few runs down the track and see how my times are then i'll look in to a stall if i feel the jump off the line could be better.

but i did still have some questions about passing smog after putting the ls6 intake & 85mm throttle body on, since my 98 does have the egr tube set up on it, also if i change the fuel rails & injectors along with the intake & throttle body do i have to upgrade the ecm or will it adjust to the new amount of air & fuel the motor is reciveing.

red 98 z28 with k&n c.a.i. , ported throttle body 3'' catback, b&m shift kit, 3.73 rear gears. with one crazy motha fu__er behind the wheel.

you should be able to use the same injectors, but are going to need EGR block off plates. and you just cant put a 02 PCM in your car you are going to have to have the car tuned to run 100% to its potential. Also you WILL fail any type of visual inspection if you take the EGR off, unless you get the one SLP sells that have the EGR provisions on it.

ok where can i get the egr block off plates, how do i tune the car to run its 100% potential, also where can i get the slp egr provisions

just make the plates, get a piece of alumn. and shape it to the fitings and screw it on....
