Lifter tray ???

Lifter tray ??? Is there a particular way that the lifters sit in the tray or do you have to line them up to roll on the cam.Or do you just drop them in and they automatically line up with the cam. i guess what im asking is, is there one way that the lifters can go in and should the oil holes face the back of the motor or towards the front?

The lifters have two Flat Spots on each side. It's the only way they will sit in the cups... INstall the lifters in the cups before your install them on the block. If it feels loose when your put them in the cups, then i think you should purchase some new ones.. they are pretty cheap..
