okay i have a 00 ss and i had the spec 3 in it and i loved it and i just recently bought another one and ive had to adjust it with shims 4x already it only has 2000 miles on it and 1000 miles of it was purely highway no hard driving anything cruizn for 900 miles in 6th mainly with the cruz set.. and its starting to get old .. and from what i see everyone seems to be having problems with spec

I dont drag race it very much anymore (occasionally)
would like a firm feel
needs to hold to about 450rwhp
mainly for street and the occasional street race
would like somewhat dependable im in the military and i dont have a garage cause i live on base and dont have the time or resources to be changing it out every 15000 -20000 miles anymore.
no chatter or the less the better..
I dont drive it hard very often but when i do i drive her hard.. so stock is out of the question..
any suggestions??
