Not sure if this is the right section but..... i have a 98 ls1 camaro ss and when it idles in park its fine, but when you stop at a stop light or just put it in drive the rpms go up and down from like 700-950 constantly, any ideas, i think its either the idle air control or a bad o2 sensor, any other ideas though?

you could have a air leak somewhere...have you had any work done on it lately?...an off idle is sometimes hard to come up with a problem....itd be best if you could put it on efi live and see what the fuel trims are running, what your spark is looking like, etc....but usually a bad idle is due to an air leak...
