How hard is it to change out a fuel pump out of a 99 Trans Am

Well, the tank needs to be dropped...or you can cut an access panel on top of the rear deck. Sure it's the pump? I'd exhaust all other possibilities first...

Easy. 1/2 hr. of work including prep. Add an hour of drying time if you spill gas and aren't in a well-ventilated area.

cut the panel out on the hump and it sits right there on the top of the tank....the alumn is about 1mm thick so becareful not to cut the tank....save you hours if done this way instead of dropping the tank
