Non-Driving C6 Z06 Owner @ HMP
I met Gray out at HMP last night, saw a red C6 Z06 with a super rookie non-driver at the wheel. I've seen some poor driving in my time at the track, but this one topped all of them. Short shifting the rpm, pauses between gears, peeling out off the line......and the funniest of all:
On one pass, he got trigger happy and jumped early, causing the red light to come on. When he saw it come on, he slammed on the brakes and came to a complete stop. The starter had to tell him to keep going.
Never seen that happen before

That was a great time Tony.
I agree with you on that point that at least he was at the track and beating on the car. That poor clutch though was damn near on fire for riding it like a fat kid on a moped.

Chris, we are going to Olde City pub tomorrow to watch the Tito vs Shamrock fight. You need to come out there and have a few brews!

Tony, you should have introduced yourself and offered a driving lesson.

Wasn't a boy, he was probably in his mid/late 40s.

I was in the Dodge truck, and forgot to wear all of my Corvette apparel. He probably would have told me to screw off, haha.
I have had this happen to me on so many occasions...
- I have even had a few guys tell me that I couldnt handle the power of a "corvette" when they saw me get out of my toyota truck...
I hate corvette owners lol.

My favorite was pulling into MTI during a Corvette dyno day, in my red '69. Some bozo in a Corvette jacket, standing in a crowd of Corvette shirt wearing bozos looked at my car driving by in the parking lot and said "that Camaro probably can't run 13s". I had my window down, and heard him. I parked the car, popped the hood to let it cool down, and one of his groupies came over and yelled back that the dude was gonna lose that particular bet.

I saw a black C6 Z06 race a viper at HRP a few months ago.
C6 Z06: 14.4x
RT/10 Viper: 15.5x
Different strokes, different folks. I'd assume most people who are driving a 70k (more like 90k) car are just having a little fun - crappy driving and all .
