Default Launching & track & Boom

i went to the track this weekend, and did a 4,500 rpm launch when approx. before the 60 ft. i felt like the sterring column broke in half, then a second later it felt fine, has this happend to any one and what do u guys think it may have been. i cant vissually see or feel any thing broken (that i can see).

yes i lifted the front end but it was not that high, just got the tires off the groung 1" -3".

it's the "floating feeling" of the tires in the air. Even though it's only a couple inches, it's the feeling of the tires catching back up with the pavement. Kind of like when an airplane lands(granted maybe not at those speeds, haha) You get that little "jolt" through the plane. In the car, you'll feel it through the steering wheel.

Yeah that's a good sign lol

Sometimes when mine really picks them up I'll feel the front end jolt or do whatever it does when the tires come down. I really noticed it more my first 20 passes or so, you'll get used to it I don't think it's anything wrong.

An even better feeling is if the car launches a little crooked and you start steering it while it's still in the air lol, now that is fun.
