Default Texas Mile

Anyone up to run the Texas Mile event on Oct. 28-29? Trying to get together some quick (fast) street cars together and maybe caravan down to the event and run. Its in goliad, tx.

From San Antonio, Texas -
Depart near San Antonio on I-37 (US-281) South Travel until you arrive at: Exit 56, bear left (east) onto US-59 towards Beeville. Travel approximately 18-20 miles

At (near) Beeville, stay on US-59 (also known as Corpus Christi Street). Travel approximately 13-14 miles towards Berclair.

At Berclair, turn left on FM 883

Travel approximately 5-6 miles to: FM 1351 - Turn Right
Travel approximately 2-3 miles.

That sounds pretty damn badass I might have to make it out there from SA next weekend.

I'll be there for sure! I plan on running between 165-170 mph on motor and above 180 on the spray! Should be a blast!

I'll be there also, got a grude match against Patrick.

I think I might have to get someone else to take a look at my tune. Since Patrick has been tuning it for me, he might have made some tweaks too it make sure I don't run faster than him.

Awww come on Kurt...

You know the only satisfaction I'd get beating you would be knowing I beat you at your best (and I'm sure vice versa). Look forward to laying down some good mph on Saturday!

I'd like to go, but I don't trust these tires at those speeds. Maybe next year.

3.73s. These were ideal gears for the standing mile. I hit 6828 rpm at the finish line.

Congrats, Patrick.
Did you make any motor only runs and what speed did you achieve?
