Default Nasty Fuel System for '06 GTO

A friend and I are getting ready to install a nasty performance fuel system in his '06 GTO. We've got the tank out as well as the stock fuel pump module removed. I've done a search and found nothing about installing this kit. Does anyone have any resources that would help us during the install? Is there a reason the Walbro pump can't use the stock wiring to the fuel pump module? Does it draw too much current for the stock power wire? The kit supplied 10 gauge wire to use for power. Also, I noticed there was factory style flexible hose coming from the top of the fuel pump, however the stock pump had an o-ring fitting on top that snapped into place in the fuel pump cansiter. What kind of modification is necessary to the canister to install the new Walbro pump? Any help is appreciated.

check out ls1gto.com and run a search. You will find what you need over there.

I am going on my 3rd fuel system in the GTO not including the stock system.
