Default Will this intake work with R/A hood ?

I have a 2000 ram air hood that is non functional from summit. looks like I could cut out the ducts in front and back. Anyone tried this ? I was thinking of getting this Volant box and was wondering if it will line up.

There's nothing wrong with a Volant. Do a search and you'll find it works just as good (if not better in some cases, particularly with the Trans Ams and WS6s) as a lid or any other intake. It is more expensive, so if money is a factor, that could be a deal breaker. But it does look bad *** with those filters though.

BTW, I have a Volant on my WS6 and it works great.
