Default Need Help!............

I removed the plastic letter inserts on the back of my vette and there is a hardened glue left in a couple of spots.I tried Goo gone and no help.Someone told me to get a Q-tip and dab acetone or laquer thinner on the spots.Will this help?

i got this stuff from advanced out it was a generic label and sticker remover it works great at getting sticky residue off..

WD40 and my thumbnail are my best tools normally in that situation

remember ,this is hardened and not residue at all.
