after my car warms up there is a loud metal to metal squeal from between the trans and eng area, if i had a manual trans i would say it was a throw out bearing it is a rotational constant speed. does anyone have any guess at what could be making the noise, trans shifts fine, eng running strong, noise is loud enough to be heard over eng at idle standing 20-30 yards away from vehicle?? any help would be appreciated. it might not even be trans related but i thought i would start here.
