Default opinions on my build for the winter....

well thers alot of guys around here in the 6.60-6.30 1/8 mile range, and none are lt1, sbc and ls1 only...
thers also alot of cars that trap in the mid 130's, my bosses TT 03 cobra being the fastest, stock motor with twin gt35 @24 pounds making 906!!!
@ 16 pounds and 780rwhp ran 10.10 at 3850 raceweight, 6 speed, 6.60 1/8 wow driver mod?...
second being c6 with 403 stroker and 250 shot auto
third being a c6 z06, h/c/stroker/DP 250 shot 6 speed

i wanna build something to compare, want it to be a 5.90 1/8 car, but could settle for 6.1-6.2 if it moves up top

car has cam only cc306, CPT 4l60-e, fuddle 3200 2.1, 3.73 in a 10 bolt(will be in the low 3200 high 3100)

wanting to make it 3.42 10 bolt (big prob here, i know, but trying to get everything else right, this will be my shortcut till i have more cash) fuddle 3500 1.9 with manual lockup (for mph, help up top)
for the motor ive been talkin to VRE and LLOYD
Eagle 4340 3.480" Stroke Crankshaft,
Eagle 6.000" H-Beam Connecting Rods,
Custom Diamond built with the intention of 300 shot of nitrous, Dart’s exclusive DCI MOS2/Teflon skirt coating, Prevent piston skirt scuffing and galling, extending piston ring seal life also Protect piston tops with DC2, Dart’s high temperature highly reflective heat barrier. Enhances flame propagation, reflects more heat into the combustion chamber and off piston tops, piston rings and lands., -5cc,
Perfect Circle Rings,
Clevite Main Bearings,
Clevite Rod Bearings
Clevite cam bearings
ARP Main Studs
Cloyes Double Roller
melling standard voilume oil pump

LE3 heads/cam, ported/welded LT1 intake

AS&M monoblade,
probably reuse my 1 3/4 hooker LT
lucas/delphi 42 pound injectors
Dynotune
motor will hopefully be seeing a 250-300 shot, through a direct port setup, and stand alone fuel with high octane

questions...
headgaskets?

should i use head studs? or just arp bolts? studs make it hard to pull heads?

any other reccomendations....

third being a c6 z06, h/c/stroker/DP 250 shot 6 speed......something sounds fishey what did he stroke his 427 too? He has additional portwork to his ls7 heads?

you listed alot of engine parts but I see no suspension mods... with a 300 shot I would use head studs and o ring the heads for extra insurance
