Longer oil filter, any advantages

Default Longer oil filter, any advantages

Going to do an oil change with gc 0w30,thinking about the longer oil filter.Is it better in any way.AC,K&N ?

Being longer it will have more filtration area, so there will be less pressure drop through the filter.
Therefore your oil pump will be able to move more oil.

I use the AC-delco PF 61 on all my LSx cars/trucks.
