How much lower will engine peak with +2 advance?
#2
Most cams already come with 4 degrees of advanced built in. So are you talking another 2 degrees of advance for a total of 6? Maybe you are thinking of retarding the cam 2 degrees for a total of 2 degress advance? Need more info.

Simple question. Cam is on a 114. I want to advance all VE by 2 degrees..
If cam peak HP normally occurs at let's say 6300, what RPM could I expect my peak HP to be with the cam advanced 2 degrees. Cam will peak earlier, just not sure how much.

I personally don't think it will make a hill of beans difference. Might move it maybe 200rpm down tops. I wouldn't worry to much the intake is holding you back more as far as upper end power goes. Might not be a bad idea to shift the power band down but from what i have seen over the yrs is that 2degree is going to come in with chian slack anyways once it breaks in.
