Default What size fuel injectors?

hey...ive been a long time looker, but this is my first time posting anything. Im currently building a 396 for my 94Z and im wondering what size fuel injectors to buy. Im going to run stock heads that have been worked on. Compression is about 10.5:1. The bottom end is fully forged, and i plan on putting nitrous on it eventually, but it will probably be a wet kit. Also, what is the best place to buy them from?

There are going to be more factors the we need to figure it out but on my 383, with all bolt ons, exhaust, mild cam and cnc ported heads I settled on #37 racetronix peices, they worked mint and tuned very well.

If you plan to tune for them or not too is a big factor. While you can throw in slightly bigger injectors w/o a problem, it's not exactly a wise choice to go TOO big. Throws off the AFR

ok....like i said before the engine is going to be a 396, with an LT1 intake and heads that have bigger valves in them, and will be ported and polished. the compression will be in the 10.5:1 range, i'm going to use 1.6:1 rockers, hooker super comp long tubes with their y-pipe, a 58mm throttle body(probably a Holley) i've got an SLP CAI, a TCI 3500 stall, a flowmaster catback, and the air and egr are going to be deleted also, i can't remember what cam im going to run, but i know it was a new cam that comp came out with recently, and it was the 2nd biggest cam they made for a LT1 that came off the shelf....hope that helps some

Hp is basically the main factor...I put down 465 RWHP on my 383 with 30lb flow matched injectors. I would say maybe 30-36 pounders should be sufficiant.
