Default Any problem with 1.29" springs in a 1.46 spring pocket?

My AS 5.3L heads have Comp 978 springs which have a diameter of 1.46", I'm going to a bigger cam and will have coil bind issues with the 978's. Is there any problem running a 1.29" outside diameter dual spring set up in the larger spring pocket?

Just use the right spring locator.

Straub Technologies has them.

Thanks for the reply guys. Is a spring locator one of those cupped things that sits on top of the shims?

I googled Straub Technologies and didn't find anything, do you have a link by any chance?
