The Borla XR1s will take about 80 to 90% of the rasp out. The are DEEP sounding on an LS1. They will quiet it down some, but it will still be loud. The trade off for almost no rasp, and one of the deepest sounding mufflers you can get is definitely worth it.
We have them in stock for $110 + shipping for #40085

I just installed longtubes with ory on my 2000 Camaro SS. I have a chambered muffler (from classicchambered.com) placed on the ipipe with an electric cutout after it. I think its a little bit too loud for my taste. So compared to the chambered muffler to the borla xr-1, how much quieter do you think I'll get if I get a xr-1?

I had the same mufflers on my without cats and they were not much quieter than open headers. The XR1s will be a lot tamer at idle and cruise. At WOT, they will be loud, but not quite as loud as the chambereds.
