Replacing trans mount on 99 TA

Replacing trans mount on 99 TA I have changed the mount on camaro some time back, but i havent been under the TA yet.. so just need to ask is it just as simple?
Lift the car, raise the trans with floor jack remove mount, possibly remove cross member and install new mount and im done?
I wouldnt think it was more than that.. but wanted to check before i commit to doing it in a few hours over a weekend...
And since we are replacing the original factory mount, is there a better one available? is it worth getting a better one if available?
