Default Mike Brown... Hot Rod Mag...

Hey was reading my Hot Rod mag and saw Mike's CETA. Says he ran a 10.71@98 with unknown problems.... anyone know if he got her figured out?

yes he did, i think his 4l80E went out then,
after that he put the th210 back in it and ran some 8.4s at milan.

He also won this seasons 2006 Dragradial class at Milan with the Yellow T/A!!

The front pump in the trans broke when he put it in high gear on that run. It was a shame as he would have been the guy to beat in small block power adder. I'm sure we will see him running again next year.

Kurt,

Yea that was what I was thinking when I read everyone elses times. I figured he shoulda taken those guys. So did he swap out from the powerglide to something else for the comp?

He has ran a 4L80E and a turbo 400 at different times of the year. The 400 is faster, but the 80E has overdrive and lock up converter. He had the 80E in for Drag week and just had a freak failure or he would have probably won.
