Default The brief life of 1st gear in my th350.

Well I made 2 passes on it with no problems. But, while warming up the tires on my 1st pass of the day at MIR on Sunday I heard the trans clunk and then 1st gear was gone. 2nd 3rd and reverse still work, but in 1st it will start rolling with no gas, but when you give it gas it does nothing. Anybody have a clue as to what I broke in this and if it should be covered under warrenty for a trans rated to 500hp. It was sitting at about 4k-4.5k when it let go.

Its a full manual shift trans. In low in will creep forward slightly at idle, and when you give it gas it still creeps forward at the same speed. But, it pretty much doesnt move at all. Then I shift to 2nd and it bangs like it should, and then third hits a little softer but they all work except 1st.

Would that be something I caused or improper build, maybe a little of both?
