Default trouble starting

hey guys, i got some problems on my 94. Lately, i've been having trouble starting it up and the last few days it wont start at all. If I wait a few days and go start it back up it starts. Now theres one more problem, when it starts it will idle really high... like 1500-2000 RPM. Just put a new starter and battery in it so what else do you think could be causing my start up issue? also, does any one have any ideas on why the idle is so high?

when you put in the new parts, u didnt happen to yank on the throttle cables on acident did you? sometimes this happens and the adjustment gets out of wack and causes the idle to stay high.....i notice you have a lt1...check the sensor holes in your throttle body
