This is probably the wrong forum, but since it's going into a Toyota I though I would post here. I have a 5.3 with tranny, wire harness the whole deal out of a 2003 suburban that I am swaping into a 1985 Toyota 4x4 rock crawler. The suburban was in a head on and something hit the valve cover on the drivers side and bent two of the mounting bolts and cracked the cover. I've looked everywhere for aftermarket valve covers and have found nothing. I was wondering if someone could point me towards any aftermarket covers or where would be the best place to find OEM.

Second question, I'm also in the need for some shortie headers and want to know what brands everyone recommends.

I can`t really help for anything aftermarket. But for used stockers check the parts section on this forum. You can also get them at the dealer try SDPC or one of the other dealers thats a sponsor, they will probably have better prices than most.
