Default OBDII port messing up!

I have HPTuners MPVI Pro interface. My software constantly disconnects if I hit a bump or hit the cable with my leg. It really is starting to **** me off. I know it's my OBDII port but I don't know wtf to do to fix it! It seems to be the orange wire that's causing the problems. if I push the connector in about half-way I have the best chance of it stayng connected. If I push it all the way in, the power light ont he cable just goes off and it takes forever to get it just right to where it will stay on. Any help on this is greatly appreciated because I'm at my wits end with this damn thing. Thanks!

I have the same problem among other things. Funny how my ls1 edit never did that. Must be the OBD2 port

I've had excellent service from them. Have you asked them about replacing it?
