Default Changed Springs valve adjustment probs..

The story is we left the heads alone when we rebuilt the car they are LE2 heads and such so we figured should work fine with a 305 the machinist tested them and they came out okay for a cam like that.. well he didnt tell us it would be overkill for a hydralic roller and that they where for a solid.. story short 3 lifters started making noise @ 600 miles and not pumping up all the way..

so we put new comp cam springs on and everything pumps all the way now.. but its just noise all over again we'v done the lash 8-9 times 2 different ways (mechanics and machinists) gonna do old skool tomorrow with engine on

Heads - LE2
Comp Cam Rockers
Comp Cam Springs
Comp Cam Push Rods

Well all the valve trains been gone through the new comp cam springs are on... got new comp cam posi locks since the stock nuts backed off as soon as you tightened them and when we put those posi locks on about 3-4 studs on each side are bent... so all the problems have come out now the heads will be 100% and the car will be back on the street this week /knock on wood
