When should I change valvesprings?
Sounds like a stupid question....and I know the typical answer...but
I have had the same valvesprings since Nov. 2003 (comp 977 duals w/comp r lifters)
I only have like 5k miles on them though. Should I be worried at all?
I that it usually comes down to the amount of heat cycles they have gone through, but I did not know what would be the best in my situation.
Thanks in advance!
Mike

I've been told by a tuner that a good rule of thumb is to change them every two years or 24,000 miles if you don't want to test them.

I will be getting a tune soon, and they said that they will check for any float.
