Car dying.
My car is dying, it dies while I was driving, and was dying while at idle. It took about 15 seconds to start on the first try. It's not sputtering or anything while driving, while it was idling correctly for a while I thought I could hear a slight miss, but not like I've heard that opti's do.
Here is the odd thing, while it's idling, I can hear a tapping sound coming from the drivers side. I just got my header gaskets changed, and it sounds more like a metal tapping, and doesn't vibrate like exhaust does when it hits your car underneath, it's just a sound I hear. it does it in this kind of way.. "brum brum.. brum brum.. brum brum.. tap tap.. brum brum.. tap tap". seems to do it in that order every time(brum brum being normal engine sound haha). I have open longtubes with dumped 1 1/2 ft 2.5" piping(true dual) so it's hard to hear much more. I took my valve covers off, and couldn't see any bend in the rods or anything.. well anyway, anyone have any ideas? I need this ******* engine to last 3 or so more months while I put an LS1 together for a swap.
