what Sensor is threaded into the driver side head on the exhuast side? I was cleaning the head off today and decied to take it out, sliped the socket and broke the plastic for the connector off Also does anyone know what the might cost. oh well atleast i got it out lol

That'd be the coolant temperature sensor that sends a reading to your gauges. The coolant temp sensor that sends a signal to your PCM is found in your waterpump. I broke mine off a while ago on accident as well.

its 30$ from a dealer btw, just bought one. seems like thats one of the most common sensors to break.

Yeah, just make sure you get the right sensor, there is a two pin sensor that looks similar that goes into the waterpump. Has a different connector obviously but, if you just go looking for a temp sensor, you might end up with the wrong one.

Yea, the one for that gauge has an interesting pigtail to find. I had to make one out of another one to fit it, my old one broke. The Sensor is a single wire, for that guage only. These cars are a pain..lol
