Some thing doesn't seem right to me. In the last GMHT the C6 Z had 6+ mph in the quarter on the F430. 121mph to 115mph. Plus isn't 50KPH like 30mph. That would put the Z in first gear. There is no way that car is hooking in first. So the driver probably started in second. Which would be way low in the power band. I just don't see a car with 348fwtq getting the jump on a Z and holding it till the top end for any other reason.

I saw that video last night on you tube and my gosh that Z06 is truely a sick automobile, It makes me want to buy a C6 rather than building up my motor in my 02 SS.

Torque is less of a factor from a roll. Plus torque is not what accelerates your car! You can have a 500ftlb and 100 hp, but you still will have a 16sec car.

my buddy just got a brand new C6 Z06 and we went out for a ride in it the day he got it and he put it in 1st gear, which was 100% useless it just dug a hole in the pavement, so then we just cruized around in 2nd which still had plenty of power (it actually broke the tires loose at 60mph just mashing the gas) and 2nd gear went all the way untill 100mph....dont forget they redline at 7k
