tsp/direct flow lid, FTRA, and the fernco mod
found this in a newbie mistake thread. guy was complaining about the SLP flow pack.... well... i have already bought the flow pac. anyone care to explain to me what exactly is in the above mods and why i made a mistake?

You bougth the SLP Flo-pac or the above mods? The SLP flow pac is a waste because the smooth bellow does nothing, the MAF does nothing and a paper airfilter is just as good, if not better, then a K&N type and the slp intake isn't as good as say the FTRA or the SSRA, bc they hang lower and suck in more air. So get a lid and either a FTRA or SSRA and save the rest of the money on useful mods.

no, i had just clicked "ok" for the flowpac when i heard that it was junk. but now i got it in, so I put it on. I may have bought too much, but I doubt anything else will outperform it by THAT much.

The intake is ok, you can buy a piece from a sponsor to make it exactly like the FTRA if you would like...the lid is good...the filter is ok b/c you can reuse it, just don't over oil it and the smooth bellow is a waste. So you're fine
