I know the subject of mufflers has been beat to death, and is usually entirely subjective, but does anyone have experience with Burns mufflers? I'm interested in putting them on a mid engine project car I'm building, as they are really light, and look slick too. Question is, am I looking for trouble (deafness/run-ins with the law) by even considering these mufflers for a street/track car?

Any experience with these mufflers on the street? Also, does anyone know what the standard is for noise restriction at drag tracks (decibels at how many feet from pipe in what direction?
