Default Cleaing Aluminum Cylinder Heads

Has anyone found an effective way to clean used and disassembled heads? Last time I put them in an ultrasonic tank but I no longer have access to the tank. I was thinking of a pressure washer. What does anyone else use?

I'd try the pressure washer, or the good ol' soak with simple green or maybe brake cleaner (less fun for your lungs!)

Ive used brake cleaner and acetone on a rag plenty of times with no problems... As long as youre replacing the valve seals.

Yes, they are completely bare at this point. The ultrasonices was great because it cleaned the whole head, including the cooling jackets

That's why I was thinking the power washer might give me the same affect when done.
