I have a 1999 trans am 6 speed. I have just had a new axel installed (driver side) and bearings. Now my rear in gears whine at 45mph and up. the car is going back in next week to have the other axel replaced (passanger side) so I know they will be fine. The previous owner need the bearings replaced and never did. I have noticed that when driving the car in normal trafic conditions ( not getting on it at all) the car seems to lose power. I got frustrated at it this morning and gave it alot of throtle. Now my service engine soon light is on. any ideas. Thanks for the help.
