Default Hi just bought my 1st Z28

98 auto silver
bone stock

what should I do 1st. this will be a DD so Im not going crazy with it. Im picking it up in a few days. I was thinking

1. some kind of lid
2 cat back
3. catted midpipe
4. ud pulleys

ls6 intake if it is cheap

skip the pulley, try bigger stall instead and do the free mods.

Congrats on the purchase. LS1tech and the search function will be the best mod you can have. Do research, write it down, change your mind, do more research, etc... you get the idea. There's a wealth of knowledge on the site, read until your eyes bug out...

Any bolt on that you can acquire will help you out to an extent. On the A4 cars a stall is a pretty valuable mod to plant the power that you currently have, as much as the power you will end up making.

Go with a full exhaust, LTs, mid pipe, cat-back. You'll pick up a decent amount of power and a very nice sounding car while your cruising around. Lids are pretty cheap so might as well, if you can pick up a used LS6 intake for cheap it should be good for 6-8 rwhp. And as Rdeputy said, do some research, dont think you have to go spend money on parts the minute you get the car. spend sometime, try to find the right combinations of what you are looking for

If you get a stall then get the biggest tranny cooler you can find/fit!
