hey i replaced my ls1 engine because it seized due 2 oil pump failure and i was just wondering... how long should i drive like a baby with it until i can go back to my crazy driving ways again?

I just went to the internal section and did a search for "motor break-in" and got lots of hits. I suggest you do the same. You'll get lots of different opinions on what the best procedure is, so read as much as you can and decide for yourself.

500-1000 miles....id also change the oil at the eng of the break in time....just a little thing i did when i just put my new motor in less then 10k ago....also due to a failed oil pump
