Default Update on tranny issue

Ok well for the past week or so my car has been staying in 1st gear too long. it doesnt bang inot 2nd either. every other shift point is perfect. my fluid couldnt be better, and im not throwing any codes. so today i wanted to floor my car just to see if it would act up and sure enough it did. it downshifted and then kept hitting the rev limiter. any idea? is it shot? i really need some help cuz im not ready to just get it rebuilt.

Well if this only happens in second gear I would suggest checking the springs in the 1-2 accumulator and if thats not it then it may be the 2-4 band itself
