Default EGR Delete Issues?

I can't get my stock EGR pipes to fit on my ebay headers so I'm thinking about just putting block off plates on them. I heard cases where the emissions bungs actually blow off when blocked off...is this a common problem? Would yall recommend blocking off the emissions to finding a way to keep them? I don't want to have to take off my headers to have them welded if the bungs blow off.

No it's not a common thing for them to blow off. If the welds look decent, I'd go for it.

Kooks sells some nice blockoff plates, and they are a sponsor. Speed Inc. also sells them.
