Default Money to spend

Was thinking 9'' Rear, Clutch, Chrome z06s with Tires

that leaves me with about 2.5k~ to spend in Heads/Cam

Any suggestions?

I was also thinking of.. NOT getting a rear.. and getting a stroker instead ...

Basically I have 6-7k to spend and would like some advice.

with the added power from getting a stroker kit, the rear won't last long. with a good rear, dr's, and a mild h/c setup you could mid-low 11's.

I would go ahead and spend good money on the rear and suspension set up you want and plan for the future. A stroker set-up with the 10 bolt and you wanting to run at the track is a 1 in a million chance it will stay together even on d/r's. But with good suspension you can give it hell with a strong head/cam/ nitrous set up all you want! A big motor isnt **** without getting it to the ground when you want. A broken rear on the starting line sure wont get low 11's... With the amount you had, you could get a 12 bolt, suspension, heads, cam, headers, and other bolt-ons that you want.

What cam specs would I NEAR if I wanted a good high hp cam that could be shifted at 6800 and still be decently streetable? I'm probably going to end up going custom grind, I just wanted to know what the duration #s would be near.
