are you set on the stock rims? probably cheaper to get some 17x11 zr1 or pay a bit more and get TTIIs. im not sure but widening rims is usually a few(~300 give or take) hundred a rim.

im wanting to do the same......you see 17x11 tt2's and zr1 wheels everywhere, but not alot of stock widen wheels. rare and original at the same time.

It wont be worth it. After you widen the wheels. you'll have to run a 2inch spacer<- im pretty sure thats the size you have to run. its pretty costly, i think ~$200 per wheel.

Its not cheap. my bddy had 2 93 Lightning rims widened to 11" it was something like $300 a rim. Also the only add lip to the back side of the rim so you will need to either do some tubs and chassis mods or widen the rearend or like Donohue96M6Z28 run some really thick spacers to get them to fit on the car.

Assuming your stock wheel is 9" width, you will need to add at least 1.5" of width to the wheel to fit a 315 tire. If you're set on doing this, then I highly recommend you contact James at Weldcraft. They do excellent work. Expect to pay ~ $200+ per wheel and additional if you want the welds ground down. Then you will need to run a wheel spacer to reduce the huge positive offset you create when you widen the wheels. This is pretty straightforward. I recommend you contact Andris Skulte at SPD for these spacers. Plan on spending ~ $180 for a pair of nice hubcentric/wheelcentric spacers.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

It cost me $200/rim widen 2" and $100 for a hub centering 1" spacer each. Total $300/rim to widen and mount a stock rim". It's not that cheap but I like the stock rim so it was money well spent. It looks killer.
