Need cylinder head info? Power question Ok, trying to find the info for 241 corvette castings and stock 5.3/4.8 heads. I know there was a site a long time ago when I did my LS1/6.0 head swap with turbo in my Iroc but can't find it ANYWHERE. Showed the valve size, combustion chamber, intake and exhaust port volume, etc. Any help would be great. I have a 2002 4.8 that I might keep and slap a turbo on for my 98' if no one buys it. (it's for sale hehe). I have 241 casting heads on it right now which I know drop the compression, but how much? thinking run a thicker head gasket, some head studs, new cam and should make some good power, nothing out of this world but I think 10psi would net around 425rwhp, maybe a bit more, any ideas?

Well the 241 castings reduce compression too, just not as much as the 6.0 heads do. It drops me to 8.8:1 I believe if my numbers are correct. I'd like to get it closer to 8.3:1. I haven't checked but I'd be worried with the small bore of the 4.8 that the 6.0 heads would have valve shrouding issues
