Default compression ratio

what is the highest CR you can run with a blown engine. I have 11:5 right now with nitrous pistons

Depends greatly on the intake charge, fuel, and tune. And about half a billion other things.

I belive the new Saleen S7 runs 11:1 with 5 PSI, however, on 93 octane. I THINK. No hard evidence, right now.

In my experience, which is geared towards 91 octane, we've normally run 8:5 or 9 and once 9:5. At 9:5 on a good tune for power and cast pistons(Cavalier) at 13 PSI we got about 4 hard runs on it. It had been running at 8 and 10 PSI for 4 or 5 months.
