What year model is that block?does it have roller cam provision's??
If your interested I'm dissassembling my 97 Vortec 350 and not reusing the rocker's/spring's/pushrod's/lifter's or cam...it is a factory roller motor.

the block is prolly somewhere in the 80's seeing as how it is a carbed motor and it is still painted orange from the factory.
as for the cam it sounds a little smaller than what im looking for, the truck isnt daily driven but it will be driven on the street. it will never see the track either. so a decent rough idle is acceptable, but a race grind solid roller is not an option. I would like power from about the 2600-2800 all the way up to 6000 is possible and a nice rough idle. I wish the magic stick 3 or 4 would work in it!
