Warming up...?
What is the best way to go about warming an LS1 up before runnnig it hard at all? Just start and idle for a while? Drive normal for a while? Or what?
And... Perks to FULL exhaust? In terms of doing headers of not? I'm looking at the SLP Loudmouth I... headers worth it? Performance difference?

do you mean running it at the drag strip? starting it up in the stagging lanes to move your car would be enough.
Your always going to gain power from full exhaust swap, the slp's will be fine as long as your car isnt lower, though i do think they are over priced.

No I just mean daily driving... My car is completely stock right now. I just mean how long should I let it warm up before I can get on it with beating on a cold engine? What exhaust would everyone reccommend? Price/Performance/Sound wise?

longtube headers are of course going to net you the single most gain with the exhaust swap. Usually 15-30rwhp depending on cat choice and your setup.

I also don't run the car hard until the oil has reached operating temperature.
I start the car.
I let it idle until the temp guage starts moving.
I drive very easy letting the trans and diff fluid warm up.
I continue to drive easy until my oil pressure at idle has come down to 40psi.
Then I may get on it a little bit.

When I goto the track, I try to keep the temp low. There's usally 10-15 cars ahead of me (the track gets a chance to warm up so I won't have a wasted time trial if I'm the first guy at the tree = spin like a ****) so I start up the car in the pits and drive up to the line up. I turn the car off and wait fo the line to pull up a few legnths before I fire it up and pull up again. When I'm 2 cars away from the burn out box, I let it idle.
As long as I've got some temp showing on the gauge, I'm good to go.
Just don't turn the key and stand on it

I think you have your answer as far as warming up goes...
As far as exhaust, that is the most important single mod you can do to your car. A good exhaust system will not only net you good hp and tq, but it will be a great foundation for future mods.
I always tell people to save up for headers and true duals, something like the Bassani Tru Dual kit. It will give you the most hp and tq possible with the ls1 engines, plus it sounds fantastic, compared to any ypipe setup. A good exhaust system with headers and true duals is a great foundation for any car.

Normally I wrap mine in an electric blanket at night. Then in the morning I get my portable space heater and put that in front of the car while vigorously massaging the block with dryer-warmed oven mitts and cooing softly to it.
Seriously though, idle until temp guage moves, drive gently until it stops moving, by then your diff/tranny should be warmed up too. Sitting still does nothing for the diff, although it will warm the tranny fluid.
