Intermittent Starting Problem
Well, looks like it's my turn to ask for help.
Sometimes, when I go to start my car, it will just crank and crank for about 30 seconds then BAM start up.
It cranks over fast, it's not one of those "whu...whu......duh" so the starter is spinning the flywheel fast enough to start it, it just won't.
Now, here is what confounds me.
I've noticed that if I crank it once, like one revolution (less than a second), then stop, then crank again it will fire up within one or two cranks (i.e. really fast).
So, this kinda leads me to believe it's a sensor of some sort that is taking it's time getting a reading.
My guess is the crank, maybe cam, position sensor. But it really has me stumped.
Anyone else care to input? Just throw your opinions out there, I wanna hear 'em!
BTW, yes, I am getting both spark and fuel pressure. Also, no major mods to speak of.

Yeah, they do.
That's what I was thinking, but I don't know how to test it and would like to make sure it really is the problem first.
Do you know how to test it?
EDIT:
Yeah, no codes; fuel related as in pump? Injectors? I already changed the filter thinking that was it, but nope.
Come to think of it my MPG has been sucking lately, could that be due to a bad pump?
Thanks for all the replies, too.
