How much is a 02 Firehawk worth???
It is my brother in laws, He is wanting me to put it forsale on the board for him.
It is a 02 automatic FireHawk. Silver w/ 20,xxx miles It has never been raced or hotrodded. I don't think the tires have ever been spun. It has I think all the options available. CD w/cd changer, grey leather, chrome rims(original tires), 3 way adjustable shocks/suspension, The Spoiler is different(I cant think of the name but the brake light goes all the way accross), and more htat i can;t think of right now. He told me it was 1 of 6 optioned this way. I tried looking it up on NADA but there is not a catagory for it. So if anybody has an idea of what its worth let me know. I will get pics later. It is one Nice ride.
Thanks
Darin
******added the only pic I have right now*********
EDIT -
VIN 2G2FV22G622159922 It is car # 1359
Still don't know the exact options.

Formula or Trans Am model?
SLP options? Appears to be 'chrome wheels', 'optional spoiler', '1LE', maybe mats, etc.
There's too many unanswered questions until everyone knows more details about the car. Generally, I'd guess like Shriner & somewhat agree at a bit lower in the $19-22 range.
I don't know of any 3-way adjustable shocks, unless it's an aftermarket mod. The 1LE option had the "double adjustable" Koni's.
Note: 'optional spoiler' is often referred to as the 'IROC' design.
And '1 of 6' can mean many things, but most likely he is considering all options, in the breakdown, etc.

I wouldn't take anything less that 20 grand for it here in Maryland. Not sure what the market is like in Kentucky. In fact with those miles and if the car is immaculate it's probably worth about 22 or 23. Do you know any car salesmen, they may be able to help you out. Just for a comparison the resale for an 02 WS6 fully option with the same miles is 20 grand. I firehawk will be a couple thousand more.

Assuming excellent condition, and all SLP options like you indicate, I think $23k is the proper starting asking price. I think $22k would be a reasonable actual sale price. $21k would not be unreasonable. Unless he needs to sell it soon, though, I think he should hold out for $22k+. That being said, I would not pay $22k for it, thinking I could find a similar condition/similarly optioned one cheaper if I was patient.

Go to the NADA site and look under classic car values....
http://www.nadaguides.com/default.as...&z=44224&da=-1
They are listing the value as 22-29K...if someone is trying to finance the car, this is how a bank would assess the value. At least thats what they used for my Firehawk. These values tend to be sort of high, but at least its a start.
