Re-use coils when switch from perimeter to center bolt valvecovers?

They're the exact same coils, just flipped to mount differently between the different styles of valve covers, right?

Same coils. On the 98 they mount directly to the valve cover; 99 and up they mount to a bracket and the bracket bolts to the valve cover.
